National artist - Arusi 

Arus Siradeghyan  was born in 1971  on june 26 in Yerevan city Armenia, studied at Yerevan  State  University  in 1989 and was graduated in1994 .

1994 -1999 she lived in Hamburg  city  of Germany, she started her career there and had a lot of group art exhibitions .

2000 -2004 she lived and continued her career in Malmo  and Kristianstad  cities in Sweden.

2001 july she participated in a group art exhibition called <The cities finest artist>.

2001 september she had a personal exhibition in Önnenstad city Sweden.

2002 october she also had a personal exhibition with sculpters in Malmo  city of Sweden.

2003 september she also had an personal exhibition in Goteburg  city  of Sweden .

2014  april she had personal exhibition in Chita city in Russia.

2016 september she did a personal exhbition  in Yervan city of  Armenia that was called < Clay and Canvas  > .

2016 december she did a personal exhibition that was called <pentographica> in Yerevan's national art museum where she earned her title as a National  Artist .

Properly, the headline is wrong, for as an artist Arus has adopted the name Arusi. During the years 2000 - 2004 she lived, together with her family, in Kristianstad - a town in the southern part of Sweden. She not only lived here, she worked also in the highest degree as an artist.

As a child her dream was painting. The dream was accomplished in Sweden. There she found the key of the lock to the door, which had shut her possibilities of painting: the key was the Swedish landscape with its beautiful light, with its magical silence. Suddenly, she could make use of her creative force. The result was: a lot of works left her easel!

In the motifs of her pictures you can always discern her character, her view of life, which often is profound. And that is true, either the picture is figurative or abstract. The artist herself has always permitted the observers to make the version of the motifs of their own. The reason can be that many ideas live in Arusi`s heart at the same time.

During the quite four years in Sweden Arusi had got the possibility of showing her works in three exhibitions in southern Sweden. Her pictures were met with estimation by the visitors. At one art exhibition she also showed a number of miniature-sculptures in clay. In every work you could track more than one human trait! 

I really hope that Arusi will go on developing as an artist and that her works will meet a positive reception by the public, both in Armenia and elsewhere.
